The Téléthon organised by the Association des Clochers, which brings together the villages of Angaïs, Baudreix, Bénéjacq, Beuste and Bordères, will be held this year in Beuste, from 29 November to 1 December 2024.
For the Telethon 2024, here is the programme put together by the Association des Clochers :
Friday 29 November
6pm : Launch of the 2024 Telethon
7pm : Catering available on site with drinks, garbure, grills, chips and pastries
8.30pm: Opening concert with the Voxitanie polyphonic men's choir, performing hits in all languages.
Admission: €8 / free for children under 14/.
Saturday 30 November - All day
On Saturday, Jean-Pierre POINT will be making easels, and there will be a sale of objects from the Recycl'art workshop in Bénéjacq.
You'll also be able to take part in a ham weigh-in for €2.
An urn will be available for donations.
9am: Walking tour, leaving from the Beuste village hall.
Registration: 5€ with snack offered.
9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm : Free fire brigade entertainment.
10am to 4pm : Children's games with the APE de Beuste
11.30am: Musical aperitif
Handover of the Telethon trophy between the mayors of Baudreix and Beuste.
Children's drawings rewarded
12pm: Option to eat on site with drinks, garbure, grills, chips and pastries.
3pm : Bowling demonstration - Beuste
3pm : Rugby demonstration - Bénéjacq
From 5pm and in the evening...
Musical entertainment with the BC Blues Café group, alternating with the Layali oriental dancers, and an aperitive.
8pm: Telethon meal with mussels and chips (registration required) or grill and chips on site
Prices: 15€ adult meal and 5€ child meal
To round off this wonderful day, warm up your voice and come and take part in a karaoke evening!
Sunday 1 November
9.30am: Mountain bike ride, leaving from the village hall. 30km route
Price: €6 with refreshments
11.30am : Musical aperitif hosted by the ‘Désa'Cordée’ from Bénéjacq
12pm: Catering on site (garbure, grills, chips and pastries)
2.30 p.m.: Concert by the Montaut singers, free admission
5pm: Closing of the Telethon with a gospel concert by the group SONG&SOUL, free admission
During the Telethon, a collection of used batteries is also organised: 1 battery = 1 donation to the Telethon.
