The Azun Valley

Between Lourdes and the Col d'Aubisque in Bigorre, and, more specifically, in the Lavedan, the Azun Valley includes three valleys in Hautes-Pyrénées.

Carved by glaciers and famous for their singing mountain streams and the abundance of their flora and fauna, these valleys are separated by four passes: the Col de Spandelles, the Col d'Aubisque, the Col du Soulor and the Col des Bordères.
Just 35 km from the Nay Region and accessible through the Ouzoum Valley, the Azun Valley, at the edge of the Pyrenees National Park, offers hiking trails, mountain bike trails, opportunities for paragliding and, in the winter, a Nordic area with over 100 km of marked pistes between the Soulor and Couraduque passes.
The village of Arrens Marsous in the heart of the Azun Valley is 40 km from the Nay Region (45 min).
